That's right! School's officially over today... and I survived foundation year at Parsons. I'm really, really proud of myself, looking back through the year. I've really pushed myself all school year and am happy with the results. I love school SO much. Seriously, if you love art with all your heart and know that's what you want to pursue, fuckin' go for it, it's so worth it. Also, don't be intimidated if an art school states that freshmen year is foundation year. Foundation was insanely helpful and amazing. Although I wasn't great at everything to begin with, mainly 3D, I gained knowledge and know the basics of 3D, drawing, design, etc. It was incredibly fun.
I'm honestly sad to see the school year end; seems like it was just yesterday that I showed up to the dorms, shy and quiet.
I'm going to miss it. Oh well. Next semester will bring bigger and better things!
Damn, I'm gonna miss having classes over the summer. :'c
